The Indexx | Noah El Hachem

El Hachem’s paintings are marked by a quiet intensity, where finely rendered figures and symbolic motifs unfold into contemplative, almost meditative compositions. Drawing on architectural influences including Hector Guimard and Peter Behrens, El Hachem brings together repetition, ornament, angular form and recurring imagery such as leaves and eyes. His works often balance delicacy with unease, allowing figures to appear both present and partially dissolved. Through this tension, El Hachem creates paintings that feel composed yet emotionally charged, holding a space between restraint, symbolism and visceral sensation.
