Edward Thomasson (1985) makes performances, plays, videos and paintings about the complexity of social and sexual interactions. His performance work uses song, dance and enactment to describe the ways people come into relation with each other. He writes text and lyrics which are brought to life through collaborations with composers, performers, musicians and friends. His work has been presented internationally in museums, galleries and community spaces. He also uses watercolour to make works on paper that explore longing, openness, support and burden. He lives and works in London.
